This is the original portrait I did of Kauto Star. It's very close to my heart and I haven't ever before tried to offer him for sale. He's only been exhibited at some trade shows. I'm not even sure I do want to sell him!
The detail in this portrait is much more than would be in a normal portrait, and it was a labour of love, taking me such a long time. There's an amazing velvet feel to him in the flesh.
He is framed up in a flat rich gold frame, with a slip window mount. I don't ship unframed portraits, the danger to the surface of the piece is too great.
This is a one off, this is the only portrait I have done, or will do of him.
