There’s a lot of emotion behind the creation, not least panic and self-doubt at the enormity of making this, my first oil, in over 20 years! I clearly had a massive boost of unthinking confidence when I started on it as the canvas size is 1 metre wide by 75 cm high.

I can’t thank Debs, one half of the Golf Widows, enough for her patience at my total misjudgement of how long it would take me!

I am one lucky girl to have been commissioned to do such fabulous horses.
